• History of Arcopedico. From beginning, there was only one goal, create shoes that would be synonymous with comfort. Suddenly, however, the Professor without having any skills or experience on the shoe manufacturing world, he faced the problem for which his intellect highly learned was not prepared: what kind of upper would give his shoe the right arch support of the foot? However, his fertile mind soon put aside the possibility of providing this new technological achievement of ordinary leather upper, because in the sixties of the last century the leathers used were really hard and painful to hurt feet. After several attempts with various types of materials, his vast chemical knowledge enabled him to the brilliant performance of one kind of yarn knitted nylon in an innovative way, it would not only enable the direct injection of the sole, but would also provide to the person who would wear it an unthinkable comfort, due to the total lack of friction points. Well, once the work was done and already accompanied by his faithful wife and is eldest son Carlo, a young twenty years boy with an innate fighting spirit, he presented himself to the most experienced and known salesmen of shoes in the country.
